Basketball - 2009
BRAD AULIN is a 1976 graduate of Corning East High School where he played in the basketball program for four years, the final two as the starting center for the varsity team. But, Brad was more than a top high school player as he’s stayed involved with the game for the past 30 years in the Corning area. He averaged close to ten points per game as a junior and senior, but he truly made his mark in local adult league action in the Corning area. Six times he led his team to the championship in the Pos Holmes Summer League. He has competed in and won a number of 3 on3 tournaments in Corning, Hornell and Keuka and garnered second place finishes at such tournaments as the Gus Macker in Hornell, Hershey Park, Buffalo and twice in the Toronto Skydome. He currently coaches the AAU team, the Elmira Lady Express and for the past five years he has been the commissioner of the Pos Holmes Summer League, one of the top summer leagues in the area. Brad and his family currently live in the Corning area.
