MARK BARNES

Lacrosse - 2005

MARK BARNES graduated from Corning East High in 1997 after being a member of the Trojan's lacrosse program for  three  years. While  at East,  Mark's  teams made  three  appearances  as  NYS runners­-up following  three seasons that saw East win the Section IV championship. Mark went on to attend Lycoming College where he really blossomed as a lacrosse player. While at Lycoming, his teams were MAC Conference runners­up three times and won the regular championship his senior season. Mark was a three­time Division HI STX USILA All­-American honorable mention selection. He was a Mid­-American Conference First­-Team All­-Star four times and was the conference Player of the Year. Mark finished his career at Lycoming eighth in goals scored, sixth in total points and fifth in assists and was a top face­off man winning 55% over his four­-year career. He served as the team captain as a sophomore, junior and senior. Since graduating from college, Mark has been coaching the past three seasons at Moravian Academy in Bethlehem, PA.
