Boyle (LaMarque, Texas) was a two-time All-Sullivan Trail Conference performer for the Corning West Vikings graduating in 1969... was also named as a B'Nai Brith Award winner in his junior and senior seasons and capped his senior year by being named as the Corning Lions Club Lineman of the Year., .was the first recipient of the Michael Durnin Memorial Award at Corning West in 1969...also lettered in lacrosse for the Vikings and went on to play that sport at Perm State...folio wing graduation from Penn State, Rick took his law degree to Texas where he serves as the captain of the Galveston SWAT team and heads the Criminal Investigation Department—While a member of the police force at Galveston, he was selected to attend the FBI National Academy at Ouantico, VA where he graduated in 1990...while at Corning West he played for C-PP Hall of Fame coach Arnie Northrop.
