ALYCIA CROAK

ALYCIA CROAK graduated from Corning West High in 1996 following an outstanding career for the Corning District Track & Field teams. She was named All-STC as a junior and a senior in both the long jump and the triple jump. Alycia won the sectional championship in both long jump and triple jump and then went on to finish third in the state meet in the triple jump with a leap of 37'2", which is still a school record. Alycia took her talents to SUNY Buffalo where she competed for four years on both the indoor and outdoor track teams. She finished third in the triple jump in the MAC conference as a freshman, was named the most improved field athlete as a sophomore and was the Most Valuable Field Athlete for SUNY Buffalo as both a junior and a senior. During the conference meet as a senior she set the school record in the triple jump with a leap of 38'8".
