Kent (Ken) Crozier has been involved with youth baseball and Softball for the past 21 years in one capacity or another. He began his 'youth coaching career' in 1978 as a manager in the Cinderella League. In 1980 he began with the Little League as a coach and by 1984 he was serving as the purchasing agent for the league. From 1985 to 1988 he was the manager of the Junior All-Stars and in 1986 and 87 managed the Senior All-Stars. As the years passed, Ken took on more and more responsibilities. Since 1987 he has been the league safety officer and for the past ten years has served on the board of directors for the Little League. Since 1990 he has been the Assistant District Administrator for Safety and the following year he became the assistant District Administrator for the Junior League and then added the same responsibilities for the Senior League the next year. He serves on the State Tournament, Planning and Program Committee. In 1991 Ken was named the Volunteer of the Year and then in 1994 he began sponsoring a team. While a number of parents are willing to tackle some of these responsibilities when their children play in local leagues, the most unusual thing about Ken and his dedication to the local little league and senior league is the fact he has no children.
