JOE DRISCOLL

Lacrosse - 2012

Joe Driscoll is a 1996 graduate of Corning East High and is probably one of the ten best players in the storied history of this program. He played four year for the Trojans, three as a starter. Joe finished his career with 252 points, including his senior year when he scored 73 goals and recorded 36 assists, the 7th best total in East High history. He led Section 4 in scoring as a junior and a senior and was an All-League selection three years in a row. He was named Western Team MVP and helped them win a bronze medal in the 1996 Empire State Games. Following graduation, Joe went to Herkimer Community College and led them to the National Championship in 1998. He was a two-time All-American at HCC and was the named the pre-season Player of the Year in 1998 when he led his team in scoring. After Herkimer, Joe went to Johns Hopkins University where he played midfield for two years. He currently resides in Corning with his family.
