Bowling - 2008

LARRY ENDERLE has been bowling in the Corning area for over forty years. He began his bowling days as a youngster of age ten and by the time he was 15, Larry was a member of the winning five­man team event in the city tournament. It was the first of four titles he would win. Larry also won the doubles title twice and was all­ events winner in 1 980. He has carried a 200­plus average for the past 25 years with a high mark of 21 5 one season. Ten times he led his league in high average. He has rolled two 300 games and has over a dozen games of 290 or better. Larry's best series ever was a 789 and he has over a hundred 700s. He has been named to the All­ City teams a half­dozen times. Larry was the King of the Hill 5 times at Corning Bowl and has appeared on the Syracuse Bowls TV show. When he attended Corning Community College, Larry was a member of the bowling team that finished third in the NJCAA tournament.  He  was  named  to  the  Corning Bowling Association  Hall  of Fame in 1983.
