Bowling - 2008
LARRY ENDERLE has been bowling in the Corning area for over forty years. He began his bowling days as a youngster of age ten and by the time he was 15, Larry was a member of the winning fiveman team event in the city tournament. It was the first of four titles he would win. Larry also won the doubles title twice and was all events winner in 1 980. He has carried a 200plus average for the past 25 years with a high mark of 21 5 one season. Ten times he led his league in high average. He has rolled two 300 games and has over a dozen games of 290 or better. Larry's best series ever was a 789 and he has over a hundred 700s. He has been named to the All City teams a halfdozen times. Larry was the King of the Hill 5 times at Corning Bowl and has appeared on the Syracuse Bowls TV show. When he attended Corning Community College, Larry was a member of the bowling team that finished third in the NJCAA tournament. He was named to the Corning Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1983.
