DEON FROST

DEON FROST has been at the top of the scoring list in the Corning Women's Bowling Association ever since she joined the organization in 1988. And this was following one of the best junior bowling careers of all time. She became the youngest and only the third, women to bowl a 700 in Corning. Deon then became the first lady to reach 700 at both Corning Bowl (Lisi Lanes) and Crystal Lanes. Since then, she has had numerous scores over 700 with a personal best of 761. Deon has finished the season eight times with a 200­plus average with a career best 212. In 2003, Deon won three medals at the Empire Game­a gold in team event, a silver in singles and a bronze in trios. During the 1998 Empire Games, Deon registered her only 300 game. She has been named to the All­City teams a total of 14 times (13 first­team) and was twice named the Star­Gazette Female Bowler of the Year  for  the  Twin  Tiers.  Deon  has  also  won  numerous  titles  in  the  Crane­Curtis  Corning  Women's  City Tournament. She was elected to the Junior Bowling Hall of Fame in1996 and Corning Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame in 2003.
