Volleyball - 2010

JAMIE FOSTER-MANN  is a 2003 graduate of Corning West. Although Jamie only spent two seasons as a member of the volleyball team, her coach, Hall of Famer Irene Furness, stated that she accomplished more in two years than many other players did in four. As a junior, she was named to the All-STAC, Second-Team helping lead the Vikings to a Regional title before losing in the State Finals to Burnt Hills. She let it all out as a senior leader on the team. Once again, she helped lead West High to a Regional Title only to loss in the State Finals to Victor. During the season, Jamie recorded 56 blocks, 30 ace serves and a remarkable 339 kills. This performance earned her All-STAC, First-Team honors, was named to the All-Leader Team as the Player of the Year and she was named to the All-State, First-Team.
