MARK FLICKINGER

Crew - 2005

MARK FLICKINGER graduated from Corning East High in 1997. He was a key member of the basketball team for the Trojans and the Corning District soccer team. He was named All­-STC in both  sports  during  his  junior  and  senior  season.  Upon  graduation,  Mark  entered  Princeton University  where  he  made  a  major  impact  on  the  rowing  team right from  the start.  He  was  a member of the Tiger's varsity crew team for four years, serving as team captain during his senior season. Mark was named to the All­Ivy, first team as a sophomore and senior leading his squad to an undefeated season in 1999. Mark was awarded the W. Lyman-Biddle Memorial Award as the senior who has done the most for the sport of rowing during his career at Princeton. He was named to  the  United  States  Under  23  national  team  and  helped  them  win  a silver  medal  in  the  2001 Nation's Cup Regatta in Austria and the bronze medal in the 2000 Nation's Cup in Denmark. Mark is  currently  a  member  of  the  United  States  Rowing  Team  competing  in  the  FISA  world championships, competing in Spain, Italy and Boston. Mark is currently employed as a research analyst while living in Princeton, New Jersey.
