Football - 2004

PAUL FREEMAN graduated from Corning West in 1981 following a successful football career that covered four years. As a senior he stepped into a quarterback position at West following in the C-PP Hall of Fame footsteps of Al Locey. He surprised a lot of local football experts by leading the Vikings to a 7-2 record and being named to the All-STX first team while setting a league record of 77 points scored. He took his football talent to Cornell University where he excelled for the Cornell Sprint Football team. While at Cornell, Paul was named All Ivy League as a quarterback three years in a row and was the Cornell Co-MVP as a senior. He led his team to two league titles including an undefeated season in 1981. He currently lives in Valatie, NY.
