SARA FIORILLO

Volleyball - 2011

 SARA FIORILLO graduated from Corning West High in 2005 following a three-year career on the Vikings volleyball team where she played a variety of positions. She proved to be one of the top servers for the team with a 94% serving efficiency during her career. She was named All-State, Second-Team in 2003 and was named All-League as a junior and as a senior. She helped the Vikings win two sectional championships, two regional championships and twice made it to the State Final Four only to lose in the finals. Following graduation, Sara took her talents to Trinity College in Hartford, CT  where she once again served the team in bunch of capacities. Sara was named NESCAC All-Academic in 2007 and 2008 and was the team captain in 2008.  Her career stats there include 85 kills, 19 setter assists, 23 aces, 5 blocks and 120 digs.  She graduated from Trinity in 2009 with a dual major in English and Public Policy.  Currently she is teaching 1st grade in the Charlotte-Mechlenburg school district as part of the Teach for America Program and is looking to go to law school next year.
