ANDREW JACKSON

Swimming - 2007

ANDREW JACKSON earned five varsity letters as a member of the Coming District swimming team and was also named as the most improved swimmer in four of those five seasons. He competed in the 50 and 100 freestyle and teamed with fellow 2007 C-PP Hall of Fame inductee Matt Gilchrist in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. He captured nine Section IV titles. Andrew also had top ten finishes in the New York State championships as a sophomore, junior and senior. He served as team captain his last two years. He was also named Athlete of the Month three times and earned the Citizenship Award at Coming East his junior year. Following graduation in 1993, Andrew went on to the College of Misericordia in Pennsylvania where he earned four varsity letters and served as team captain for three years. He set pool and school records in the 50 and 100 freestyle, 100 and 200 breaststroke, the 200 and 400 medley relays along with the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. He received the Coaches Award twice and was the team MVP during his senior season. Andrew is currently a manager for Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical. He and his wife live in Westfield, Indiana.
