Stacy Johnson currently serves as the Athletic Director and manager of the Fitness Center for Corning Community College. She is also the women’s softball coach, a position she has held since 1997. During her reign as softball coach, the Lady Red Barons have a logged a 383-135 won-loss record. Her team finished as the National Runner-Up in 2004. Stacy has been named the MSAC Coach of the Year six times and the Region Coach of the Year four times. She has coached six Players of the Year, and 14 of her players have gone on to play Division I softball. During her stint as the women’s basketball coach, she was named the Coach of the Year three times. Last year she was named the NJCAA Athletic Director of the Year, the first time that award was ever given to a CCC Athletic Director. During her tenure as the CCC Athletic Director, the Red Barons have produced 33 All-Americans, 17 NJCAA Academic All-Americans and 22 Academic All-Region athletes. CCC has also earned the Sportsmanship Award the past two years with Stacy at the helm.
