Softball - 2012

Jesika LeBarron graduated from Corning West High in 2006 after a stellar four-year career for the Vikings softball team. Jesika was a varsity starter for West High as a pitcher, shortstop and centerfielder. Three times she was an All-League and All-Leader selection.  She led the Vikings to the Section IV, Class A Finals twice, serving as team captain in her junior and senior seasons. She finished her career at West with a 1.80 earned run average and finished with 341 strikeouts while hitting .358 at the plate. Upon graduation, Jesika took her talent to Alfred University where she played as a four-year starter at third base and shortstop. Her first three years, Jesika played third, then switched to shortstop as a senior when she hit .333 with 41 hits, five home runs, 30 RBI and a .537 slugging percentage. For her career at Alfred, Jesika holds school records for hits (171), batting average (.373), home runs (23), RBI (123), runs scored with 103 and 35 doubles. She was a two-time All-Empire selection and three times was named to the NFCA All-Region selection. She currently resides in Campbell, N.Y.
