Baseball - 2005

ANDY MADDEN graduated from Corning East High School is June 1998 after a three year varsity career in the Trojans baseball program. As a sophomore Andy was named honorable mention All­-STC, a second teamer as a junior and was named to the All­-Leader first team as senior. As a senior he was awarded the Tom Rossetti Memorial Scholarship. After graduating from East, Andy went to Alfred State College where he garnered  a number of  awards while helping his team win the Western New York Athletic Conference  championship  in  1999  and  the  NJCAA  Division I Region III  title  in  the spring  of  2001.  From  Alfred  State,  Andy  went  on  to  SUNY  Brockport  where  he  was  named  All­-SUNYAC First­Team Catcher in 2002 and the SUNYAC First Year Player of the Year and earned a spot on the ABCA/Rawlings 2002 All­Star Team. Andy was also named to the ECAC Division III All­-Star team in 2002. Andy was a leader both on and off the field leading his teams to championships at all levels.
