DON MILLHOLLEN has been coaching youth bowlers at Crystal Lanes since 1975 and still does so today. In 1982 Don was elected President of the Corning Youth Bowlers Association and remains at the helm to this date. He is also a delegate to the New York State Youth Bowling Association. He co-chaired the Martin Luther King Jr. tournament and the NYS Youth Banquet for a dozen years. Don has also assisted with the youth holiday doubles tournament since 1980. He earned his level I certificate in coaching in 1987 and two years later earned his level II certificate. He has also attended national workshop sessions in Fort Worth, Cincinnati, Norfolk and Las Vegas. During the fall season Don, along with his sons Greg and Eric, can be found serving as the ‘chain gang’ at the high school football games that take place in the Corning War Memorial Stadium. They’ve been doing this for about 20 years.
