DOUG MOSHER has been bowling in the Corning Bowling Association for the past 20 years and has been named to the All-City Team each year – 17 times on the First-Team and three berths on the Second Team. Each year in Corning, Doug has finished the season with an average of 220 or better. He set a city record in 2000-01 with a 234 mark and broke it the next year with a 236 average. He has more than a dozen city tournament titles to his credit and in the 75th Annual City Tournaments he won the singles, doubles, team event and all-events titles. In 1998 Doug also won the Crystal City Classic in 1998, a prestigious singles tournament that drew over 120 entrants from five states. He beat Ryan Shafer on his way to the crown. He also finished second in this tournament twice. Doug has rolled 51 300 games with half of them in Corning. He has a number of 800 series to his credit with a career best of 826. Last year he won the gold medal in the singles event of the Empire State Games and has a total of six ESG medals.
