Earl Moulthrop (Panama City, Florida) graduated from Painted Post High School in 1953 following a career that saw him letter in football, basketball and baseball...was one of only a handful of players to play and start as a freshman for the Indians...following graduation, Earl made his mark as an official in a number of capacities...became a basketball referee in the early 1960s and became president of the Steuben County Basketball Officials Board in 1964...at the urging of former Corning East lacrosse coach Joe Corcoran, Earl became a high school and college level lacrosse official and was a member of the Ithaca Lacrosse Officials Board...coached Corning Babe Ruth Rotary baseball in the NYS tournament...officiated Corning Glass Works basketball league during the 1960s...was public address announcer during the 1970s and 80s at War Memorial Stadium...Co-chaired the project for re-sodding the Stadium field in the mid-70s...finished career as sports official by umpiring high school girls softball games in the late 1980s
