Lacrosse - 2013

Jon Miller graduated from Corning East in 2000. After fighting for a starting position for two years, Jon finally earned the nod in goal for the Trojans halfway through his junior year. Jon played a major part in getting a very talented but young Trojans squad to the state finals.  He proved the coaches made the right decision as a senior when he served as one of the captains for the Trojans and was named All-League, First Team, All-Leader, First-Team and was a member of the Empire Games Western team. Jon was also named to the Bay State game that featured the best players from New York versus the best players from Maryland. Following high school, Jon went to Ohio State University where he helped the Buckeyes to their first ever appearance in the NCAA tournament. During his senior season he was named the MVP vs. Fairfield
