Katy Miller is a 2005 graduate of Corning West where she was a three-year starter for the Vikings on attack. As a junior and senior Katy was named to the Section IV, Class B and All-Leader First Teams. During her senior season, Katy led West High with 42 goals and 51 total points while serving as one of the team captains. She also played volleyball and basketball for four years for the Vikings. After graduation from high school, Katy took her lacrosse talents to Mercyhurst College (now Mercyhurst University) to pursue a degree in sports medicine. While at Mercyhurst she earned a spot as a starting attacker during her senior campaign and helped lead the Lakers to their first ever appearance in the NCAA tournament. (Note that only four teams in Division II are invited each year). She finished her career at Mercyhurst with 35 goals and 10 assists for 45 points while being a Dean's List student-athlete.
