MIKE MILLER

Football - 1995

MIKE MILLER (Erieville, NY) is one of the finest linemen on offense or defense to come out of Corning West. In the words of Hall of Fame coach Arnie Northrop, Mike was the best lineman he had during the 70s and one of the best ever. He was named to the B'nai Brith All-Star second team during his junior year and was named to the first team following his senior season. He also was named as the Lions Club Lineman of the Year in his senior season. Mike went on to play at Cornell University where he played for two years as the nose guard. His college career was cut short after his sophomore season due to two knee injuries and surgery. He also competed on the track team at West where he set a county record in the discus.
