TIM MANDELL

Football - 2004

TIM MANDELL graduated from Coming East in 1984 after playing for the varsity football team for three seasons. Tim was a do everything defensive end and tight end. He anchored the defense and was the leading receiver on the offense along with handling all the kickoffs and extra points and field goals. He was the team's MVP James Day Award winner as both a junior and senior. Tim was the third leading scorer in the STC as a junior along with being third in receiving yards and second in total catches. As a senior, Tim was named the Lions Club Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman while serving as team captain. He was also named the East-West game MVP as a senior. He was recruited and ready to play for Hudson Valley Junior College but a knee injury and then surgery ended his football career.
