Lindsay Benjamin NIx

Soccer - 2014

Lindsay Benjamin Nix graduated from Corning West High in 2008 after a four year career with the Corning Hawks soccer program.

Ben was named to the All-Leader Team three seasons, was named to the All-STAC West team in 2005 and was an All-Conference selection as a junior and senior. He was named the team MVP as a junior and senior while playing as a central midfielder responsible for controlling both the defensive and offensive play in the middle of the field.  As a senior Ben was named to the Bishop Ludden All-Tournament team and was awarded the CPP Soccer Alumni Award for his leadership efforts.  He took his soccer talents to SUNY Oswego where he became a starter late into his freshman season. He was moved to the outside marking back position in college and was generally assigned to mark one of the opponent’s top offensive threats each game. Ben was a four time scholar athlete at Oswego. He currently works as a technician at the Oswego Hospital.
