BRANDON PEASE

Basketball - 2010

BRANDON PEASE  graduated from Corning East High School in 2003 following a four year stint with the Trojans basketball program. As a freshman, he led the JV team in scoring and that earned him a promotion to the varsity for the playoffs at the end of the season. With that experience, he became a starter as a sophomore and was second in scoring for the team with a range that included a deadly eye from the beyond the three-point line. He finished the season averaging 12.8 points per game and was second in New York State in 3-pointers made and in 3-point shooting percentage. As a junior he started having injury problems with his knee and it hindered his play a great deal keeping him to only 12.0 points per game. Prior to his senior season, knee surgery was required and left him with curtailed mobility. He still managed to score over 15 points per game and shot nearly 40% from three-point range. He was named All-STAC and All-Leader and was selectd to three All-Tournament teams. Brandon finished his career at East with 777 total points to rank in the top five. He went on to play at St. John Fisher for only one season.
