DAN PARRILLO

DAN PARRILLO  is a 1990 graduate of Corning East where he earned nine varsity letters. Four of those came on the wrestling mat where he scored 101 career wins. Of those victories, 66 were by virtue of a pin. In his senior year he led the Trojans to a team victory at the prestigious Watkins Glen Invitational (now know as the Mike Watson Memorial Tournament). Dan capped his senior campaign with a Section IV Class A Championship. Dan also played baseball (3 letters) and football (2 letters) at East and was the Bacalles Memorial winner as a senior. As a senior on the football team, he was All-STC, All-Twin Tiers and named the Corning Lions Club Offensive Back of the Year. Following high school graduation, Dan attended Corning Community College and was a key performer for the Red Barons wrestling team. He capped his collegiate career by being named All-American following his fifth place finish at the Junior College National Tournament in Fargo, North Dakota.  In 1997, Dan was inducted into the NJCAA Region III Junior College Wrestling Hall of Fame.
