Lacrosse - 2000

Joe Pavlik graduated from Coming East in 1989 and although he missed the state championship by one year, he was considered one of the players who helped to lay the ground work for that title. Joe played varsity lacrosse fort he Trojans for three years helping East to three Section IV, Class B championships. As a midfielder, Joe was named All­league as a junior and senior and in between those two years, he was a starting middle for the Bronze Medalist winning Western Region team in the Empire State Games. Joe attended Hofstra and Alfred University after starring for Corning Community College. While at CCC, Joe was named to the All­East second team and was named to the North­South Junior College All Star game. He earned his Bachelors Degree from Alfred in 1994 and then completed his Masters Degree in 1996. Joe also served as the assistant lacrosse coach at Alfred in 1995 and 1996. He moved to Virginia and was the assistant coach at Roanoke College. Joe also played football at East and participated in a number of other activities. Joe currently lives in Roanoke, VA.
