Tony Pavlik graduated from Corning East in 1986 as the leading rusher in the school's history. His varsity career began as a sophomore when Tony was called up in the middle of the season and ended up as the leading rusher on the team with 344 yards in only four games. As a junior he rushed for 924 yards on 159 carries, almost six yards per carry. During his junior season, Tony scored touchdowns five different ways — rushing, pass reception, pass interception, punt return and kickoff return. As a senior, he rushed for 1,124 yards on 173 carries for an average of six and half yards. For his career, Tony rushed for 2,392 yards. He was named All-STC and All-Twin Tiers as a junior and senior. He also earned the Lions Club Offensive Back of the Year and was the Dana Eckel Award Winner as the Outstanding Offensive Back at East High School. Tony was also a three-year letter winner on the Trojans lacrosse team, playing in the Empire State Games between his junior and senior seasons. He went on to Loyola College on a lacrosse scholarship where he graduated in 1990. Tony currently lives in Los Angeles.
