Golf - 2006

AARON TALLMAN graduated from Corning West High School in 1995 after a stellar career as a member of the golf team. He was named to the All­STC, First Team as a sophomore, junior and senior. Qualified for the NYS High School tournament  as  a junior  and the NYS Junior Amateur tournament in 1995. After graduating from West High, Aaron went to the University of Charleston at West Virginia on a golf/academic scholarship where  he  became  a  key member  of  the  golf  team  his  entire four  years. He was  a  three­-time  First­-Team, All WVIAC Conference member and also named to the NCAA First Team, Division II, All­Region team three times. In 1999, Aaron was named the WVIAC Conference Player of the Year leading his team to the NCAA, Division II Team National Tournament. He continued his golf career after college with a stellar career in Florida as the medalist in 10 tournaments and finishing in sixth place in the 2002 state amateur tournament. In  1999, Aaron won  the  Corning  Country  Club  Championship,  the  Elmira  Country  Club  Championship  and  the  Twin  Tiers Tournament Championship. He currently lives in Lancaster, NY.
