STEPHEN VALLONE

Lacrosse - 2009

STEPHEN VALLONE graduated from Corning East High School in 2000. He was a three-year starter for theT rojans and finished his career as the 12th best scorer in school history with 135 goals and 64 assists for 199 points in 62 games. As a senior, Steve was the leading scorer in Section IV, named All-League, All-Section and All American.Two times he participated in the Empire State Games and as a senior was named to play in the North-South All-Star game. Following graduation, Steve went to Syracuse University on a lacrosse scholarship. While at Syracuse, Steve was a member of two national championship teams. He played in all games as a sophomore when the Orange won the title and during Steve’s senior season, he was one of the stars on that national championship. As a senior, he was a co-captain, one of the top scorers and was named to the NCAA, D-1 All-American Second-Team. Steve headed to the west coast following college and played for the Anaheim Storm in the Major Indoor Lacrosse League and most recently played for the Los Angeles Riptide in the MLL. He currently lives in San Francisco, California.
