Lacrosse - 2012

Corey Warner is a 2001 graduate of Corning East High. He was a three-year starter for the Trojans lacrosse team and was also a letter winner for the football and wrestling teams. Corey was an All-League and All-Leader selection as a junior and senior and was a face-off specialist. Following graduation, Corey attended Herkimer Community College where he led them to a National Championship during his sophomore season as a starting midfielder and face-off man. For his efforts, Corey was named a First-Team, All-American. When he left Herkimer, Corey took his talents to the University of Maryland at Baltimore County.  He started at attack as a junior and during his senior season he was a starting midfielder and was their top face-off man. His goal in double overtime beat Ohio St. during his junior year. As a senior he won 14 of 18 face-offs versus Johns Hopkins and the top rated face-off player in the country. He currently lives in Charlotte, NC and will join his late grandfather Amelete Festa (boxing-1983) in the C-PP Hall of Fame.
