Bowling - 2013

Mark Warden has been bowling in adult leagues in the Corning Association for just a little over 30 years. For the past 24 years Mark has carried a 200 average with six of those years going over the 220 mark including four campaigns of 225 or better. Since 1978, Mark has had a least one 700 per season. He has four perfect games to his credit and four series of 800 or better including a career best 836 last year. During competition in the City Tournament, Mark is one of only a handful of bowlers to capture a singles crown, a doubles crown, team titles and an all-events championship. He qualified for the Syracuse TV Show the King of the Hill on five different occasions. Mark has been named to the All-City, first and second teams a half dozen times and he is a member of the Corning Bowling Association Hall of Fame. He is also a certified lane inspector and has served as a league and association officer a number of times. During his high school days in the early 1970s, Mark was a member of the tennis team, and he is also an accomplished golfer.
